
The Red Eagle Story
About
Red Eagle was not necessarily ever THE PLAN. To be honest, when I graduated from college in 2011 I fully intended to gain a job as a teacher and never look back. Well, that was easier said than done. I interviewed poorly and did not get a job. I started to spend a lot of time in the gym, eventually becoming a certified personal trainer. My first little business was "Leah's Bootcamp," which had multiple locations within different gyms. in 2013 I visited my first CrossFit gym and knew that was what I wanted to be a part of. After giving birth to my second child in 2014 I set out on that journey. This lead to obtaining my CrossFit Level 1 in 2016. In 2017 I decided it was time to open my own affiliate in my hometown. It has been one of the best decisions of my life. This gym means so much to me and to so many others. So, while I may have thought it was not the plan, it was in fact God's plan. - Coach Leah

How she got started:
"I started Bootcamp with Leah in the summer of 2018. I would always watch the women in CrossFit and think, "I want to be doing that!" Finally, in the summer of 2020, I made the transition from bootcamp to CrossFit. I only hope that I have been a great motivator to other women in and outside of our CrossFit gym.

How she got started:
"I've always been into fitness and have worked out for years at various gyms and at home. I had never really found anything that helped me to really push my limits, so i decided to give it a try. (After much deliberation lol.) I was nervous about it, and super intimidated to be honest. I went to that first class and realized it wasn't at all like I had envisioned. The community is like no other, and after experiencing that camaraderie between the athletes, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of! CrossFit will forever be a part of my life."

How she got started:
"I saw an ad for CrossFit on Facebook that made me go down the rabbit hole of CrossFit. I found a local gym in Benton which I visited. I already was avidly working out but wanted a new challenge."
